Cincinnati, OH – December 18, 2014 – Just in time for the New Year, Cincinnati-based charity Vixens 4 Veterans has wrapped up the creation of a 2015 pin-up style calendar featuring models in military-style settings and showcasing vintage motifs. The calendar is now available for purchase at http://www.vixens4veterans.com.
Model and Co-founder of Vixens 4 Veterans BrittanyJean of Cincinnati teamed up with photographer Mark Greenmantle of Brisbane, Australia to develop the calendar. The pair traveled nationwide to seek unique photo settings and meet models interested in supporting the cause. The project is entirely self-funded by BrittanyJean and Mark.
“I have a passion and eye for vintage style, and Mark has extensive experience in creative photography, especially working with military themes. It was amazing to watch this masterpiece unfold,” says BrittanyJean. “It’s an honor to finally see the printed pieces because this was truly an effort from the heart.”
Profits from calendar sales will be distributed among Boot Campaign, which from funding creates jobs, housing, wellness, urgent assistance, and family support; RuckHQ, a veteran-owned project development and management holding company; Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW); Soldier On, an organization committed to aiding service members with PTSD and injuries; Mates 4 Mates, an Australian defense service and veterans support organization; and Legacy Australia, a non-profit providing assistance to veterans’ families.
