Aurora Introduces NEW eLearning Program
Aurora Casket Company, the largest privately owned funeral service provider, introduces a new eLearning training program for their customers. “We are pleased to offer yet another innovative learning strategy for funeral homes. Our eLearning platforms represent an approach that provides users with valuable content and effective skill practices,” said Lacy Robinson, Director of Professional Development for Aurora.
Each funeral director who utilizes Aurora’s Journey Cremation System can now be registered for an eLearning course titled: “A Balanced Cremation Arrangement.” The course is entirely online and may be taken from any computer with high-speed internet access.
Through “A Balanced Cremation Arrangement” funeral directors and pre-arrangement counselors will:
· Learn five different approaches to presenting Celebrating Life’s Journey Arrangement Guide.
· Discover the steps to presenting Aurora’s Journey Cremation System.
· Broaden their knowledge base of cremation merchandise to better educate client families.
· Perfect positive responses to closed ended statements that families may express regarding cremation.
Following the course content, students will be required to complete a quiz consisting of multiple choices, matching and short answer questions. Scores are provided immediately upon completion. Students will have their own password-protected account allowing for easy access and tracking of completed courses. Funeral home owners and managers will receive a detailed transcript including grades for each student/employee.
“We want funeral home owners and managers to rethink performance training and keep an open mind to the different learning styles available for their staff. Through eLearning, owners and managers can cultivate more thorough professional development experiences throughout the year,” added Robinson.
The Aurora Learning Team is available and committed to answer any questions you may have regarding eLearning courses. Look for more programs that Aurora will launch later this quarter covering Cremation phone inquiries, non- religious funeral, and communicating with different generational survivors.
