Hollis Roberson Award given to Dunn at annual state convention
Fort Worth, TX — May 10, 2011 — The Texas Association of Health Underwriters (TAHU) awarded its highest honor, the Hollis Roberson Award, to C. Briscoe Dunn of Granbury, Texas. Dunn received the surprise award at the TAHU State Convention in San Antonio, Texas on May 5, 2011.
The Hollis Roberson Award is given annually to one recipient who has made a significant contribution in time and talent, without personal gain, in supporting awareness, education, and legislative activity to further the health insurance industry.
“Briscoe Dunn was chosen by a select committee to receive this honor for his thirty-three years in the insurance industry, his unwavering support of TAHU, his knowledge of senior products and his continuing educational awareness to clients regarding health insurance,” stated Chair of the Hollis Roberson Committee Linda New, LUTCF (Austin, Texas), and former recipient of the award.
Dunn is a producer with Higginbotham & Associates (Fort Worth, Texas) in their Granbury office and specializes in senior products. He is a Lifetime Member of the National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) Leading Producers Round Table, and an active member of the Fort Worth AHU Chapter, where he was awarded the Donna Carnall Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. He received NAHU’s Legislative Achievement Award in 2005.
