Cincinnati Public Relations Firm Hopes to Donate 1,000 Cans in Honor of National Canned Food Month
The Eisen Agency Engages Clients In Effort to Help The Brighton Center
Cincinnati, OH — February 15, 2011—Chances are you didn’t know that February is National Canned Food Month. Greater Cincinnati’s largest investor relations and public relations firm, The Eisen Agency, has crafted its own way of celebrating. True to its philanthropic mission and tradition, Eisen looks to collect at least 1,000 cans of food and other non perishable goods and provide those to The Brighton Center. The Eisen Agency will look to its employees, clients and colleagues to reach the goal.
“We look at this as an opportunity to use our influence to make a positive difference in a very simple way, and a great way to have a little fun with our clients beyond the day to day services we provide,” The Eisen Agency president Rodger Roeser said. “I’m confident we’ll be able to reach our goal of 1,000 cans and help to make a little impact locally.”
Eisen plans to ask all of its firm’s 50+ clients to collect canned goods from their employees and also from their clients as well, creating a sort of “pay it forward” type of program. The agency will collect the canned goods on February 28th and provide them to The Brighton Center.
“I think it’s a great idea and it’s great working with Eisen,” The Brighton Center Development Director Bear Clifton said. “From building our website to conceptualizing this drive, they make my job easier by adding professionalism and ingenuity to our efforts, and genuinely work to help out our community. I wish more organizations, large and small, would do just a few simple things that can collectively make such a huge impact.”
The Brighton Center is one of several nonprofit organizations The Eisen Agency contributes pro bono work to as part of its “Operation: Outreach” initiative. A 2011 Pillar Award winner for “Outstanding Community Service,” The Eisen Agency has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars of work to charitable causes free of charge over the past five years.
Those interested in contributing canned goods or nonperishable items may do so by visiting The Brighton Center at 741 Central Avenue in Newport or drop off canned goods at the agency at 515 Monmouth Street in Newport.
