Smith & Schaefer donates 13 wardrobe units to Brighton Center’s Homeward Bound Runaway Shelter
Cincinnati Based Company Helps Renovate Local Children’s Shelter

Cincinnati, OH-June 28, 2011- Smith & Schaefer, a Cincinnati based regional dealer representative for healthcare and scientific equipment and furnishings, donated 13 wardrobes to the Brighton Center’s Homeward Bound Runaway shelter in efforts to help in the new renovations of their Covington facility.

“We were happy to be able to be a part of the renovations of the shelter, said Leslie Gray, account manager at Smith & Schaefer. “Homeward Bound offers a comforting, safe haven for young people in crisis or in transition. We’re so glad that this high quality furniture has found its home.”

The 13 wardrobes were delivered by Smith & Schaefer and installed by partnering company The Wegman Company. The wardrobes provide a place for residence to keep their personal belongings safe and secure.

“The wardrobes are a beautiful addition to our facility and the children have found great use of them,” said Amanda Roebel, program coordinator at the Brighton Center. “We are very appreciative of Smith & Schafer’s generous donation.”

Other renovations of the shelter include new flooring, furniture, and new technology and were made possible by The Leadership of Northern Kentucky 2011 class pledge project. This year’s leadership class raised $40,000 to help the Homeward Bound Shelter in their renovations.
